Molding Process Technician - Medical Device - Yonkers
Set up, install, remove, and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and peripherals. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain consistent production.

- Set up, install, remove, and adjust injection molding machines, molds, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to maintain consistent production.
- Perform preventative maintenance on machines, molds, and robotic systems.
- Verify that all molded parts meet quality and dimensional specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate technical updates to the team.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and operating procedures.
- Assist in training production staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks in accordance with Clean Room protocols.
Profile
- 1-3 years of experience in injection molding operations, including mold changes and equipment troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to operate, adjust, and maintain molding and robotic equipment (6-axis and 3-axis).
- Familiarity with plastic materials, mold functions, and process control.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use inspection tools.
- Computer proficiency for documentation and basic reporting.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, gripping, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work across shifts and in a cleanroom environment.
