Description

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on employment law matters to clients.
  • Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
  • Represent clients in employment-related disputes and litigation.
  • Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Assist in developing strategies for handling workplace issues and disputes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in employment law.
  • Support clients with internal investigations and risk management strategies.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • 3-6 years of significant experience advising on employment issues in private equity or M&A transactions.
  • Strong background drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and handling employment disputes or investigations.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, writing, and judgment skills.
  • Effective client management and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong academic credentials and admission to practice in Illinois (or eligibility for prompt admission).
