As an Assistant Project Manager, you'll work closely under a Project Manager on 2-3 high-end interior fit-out projects at a time, typically 20,000+ SF, with durations ranging from 3 to 12 months.You'll be an integral part of the project lifecycle - from start-up to close-out - gaining hands-on experience and increasing responsibility as you demonstrate dependability and initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Support project documentation and coordination including RFIs, submittals, and meeting minutes
Assist with material tracking, scheduling updates, and procurement workflows
Participate in job site visits across the DC metro region
Help with project start-up and close-out processes
Utilize platforms like Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Excel, and CMiC to maintain accurate project records
Take ownership of aspects of project management as you grow into the role
Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to keep projects running smoothly
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience with a general contractor, ideally in commercial interiors
Familiarity with the tools of the trade: Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Excel, and/or CMiC
Highly organized, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Must be local to the DC metro area (or willing to relocate) and able to work full-time from the Alexandria office with regular site visits

Competitive base salary + up to 10% bonus based on performance
$600/month car allowance
