AR/Collections Specialist
This role involves managing a large portfolio of customer accounts, conducting high-volume collection outreach, and negotiating repayment solutions based on financial situations. It requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in ERP systems to ensure timely resolution of outstanding balances and accurate account maintenance.

Description
Manage a portfolio of 500 customer accounts, ranging from low to high value.
Conduct a high volume of daily collection calls and emails to maintain customer engagement.
Negotiate and arrange repayment plans based on customers' financial circumstances.
Follow up consistently with customers to ensure timely and efficient debt resolution.
Reconcile unapplied payments and ensure accurate account application.
Monitor and resolve accounts placed on credit hold.
Prepare and present monthly aging reports to management.
Address and resolve outstanding balances, guiding customers on appropriate next steps and repayment strategies.
Maintain up-to-date financial records for all assigned accounts.
Review and explain terms of sale, service, and credit agreements with customers.
Perform administrative tasks such as updating contact information, filing, and responding to customer correspondence.
Use aging reports and automated systems to track and manage overdue accounts.
Profile
Required: 3-5 years of experience in high-volume collections within a fast-paced setting.
Proven ability to manage a large aging report with 500+ active accounts.
Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP software.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working with a strong sense of urgency.
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, at least 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
