As a Senior Superintendent, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the on-site construction operations, ensuring the efficient and successful completion of projects. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Superintendent to join their team and lead the successful execution of their projects with expertise and passion.
Description
- Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and in-house personnel, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication, resolve issues, and maintain project alignment with client expectations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive construction plans, including construction sequencing, logistics, and resource allocation, to optimize project efficiency and minimize disruptions.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify and address potential issues or delays, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely project completion.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify compliance with project specifications, building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
- Collaborate with project teams to review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents, providing insights and solutions as needed.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of construction materials, equipment, and resources to support project schedules and ensure efficient operations.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring adherence to project requirements, performance standards, and contractual obligations.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely project progress reports, including daily logs, photos, and documentation, to keep stakeholders informed of project status.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, innovation, and cost-saving measures, driving operational excellence throughout the construction process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, implementing relevant advancements to enhance construction methodologies and project outcomes.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Senior Superintendent or similar role, successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
- Deep knowledge of construction processes, methods, materials, and safety regulations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate project teams to achieve excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and make informed decisions.
- Professional certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR) are highly valued.
