Description

• Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for heavy civil construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to identify project requirements and potential risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop comprehensive bid proposals.
• Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
• Monitor and update cost databases to reflect current market conditions.
• Provide value engineering suggestions to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
• Assist in post-bid negotiations and contract finalization with clients.
• Maintain accurate records of all estimates and correspondence for future reference.

A successful Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil Construction should have:
