Field Service Engineer

The Field Service Engineer will play a critical role in providing on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for industrial and manufacturing equipment. This position is based in Louisville and requires a hands-on professional who excels in problem-solving and customer service.

Description

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial and manufacturing equipment at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Provide training and technical support to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Document service activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address complex technical challenges.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols during on-site visits.
• Maintain an inventory of tools and spare parts to ensure timely repairs.
• Travel to customer locations as required to meet service demands.

Profile

A successful Field Service Engineer should have:

• A strong technical background in industrial and manufacturing equipment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
• The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Experience with Injection Molding Machines is highly preferred.
