Senior Project Manager - Commercial Construction - Madison
Madison general contractor is seeking a senior project manager that can run commercial and light-industrial projects with full autonomy. This client is a general contractor that operates primarily in the commercial and light-industrial spaces. They have been building in Dane County for over two decades, and in that time have built a roster of repeat clients. This firm is known for their committment to first-class service for clients and a company culture that is centered around a passion for building.

- Project Types: Diverse commercial, industrial, and manufacturing (both TI and Ground-Up projects)

- Project Location: All local to Dane County
Description
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, and cash flow to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing work to meet contractual milestones.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure quality and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, building codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Review and approve submittals, RFIs, change orders, and progress pay applications.
- Identify project risks and proactively resolve issues related to scope, cost, schedule, and constructability.
- Communicate effectively with owners, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to report progress and resolve concerns.
Profile
- 5+ years of experience leading projects in the commercial, industrial, or manufacturing spaces
- Track record of successfull running projects valued at $8M+
- Experience with preconctruction concepts in order to collaborate with precon team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be the main point of contact for key clientele
Job Offer
- Competitive base salary of $120,000 - $135,000 based on qualifications
