Project Manager - Design/Build General Contractor
Fully-integrated design/build general contractor is seeking a project manager to join their team. This firm employs in-house architects and engineers, leading to high-levels of efficiency in the building processes. See below for more details. Description
- Lead planning, budgeting, and scheduling for commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure project scope and specifications are met.
- Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial control against the approved budget.
- Oversee site progress and ensure milestones are achieved according to the project schedule.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, permits, and quality standards.
- Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and manage expectations.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Review contracts, manage procurement, and ensure subcontractor performance and deliverables meet project requirements.
Profile
- 3+ years of construction project management experience
- Track record of running ground-up commercial and/or retail projects
- Familiarity with preconstruction and estimating
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Base salary of $100-$135K dependent on qualifications
