Plant Manager
Responsible for overseeing daily operations of the plant, including maintenance, production, packaging, prep, and administration. Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency across all departments. THIS ROLE REQUIRES RELOCATION TO MADISON, WISCONSIN.

Description
- Manage plant operations with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Lead and develop supervisory and support staff
- Align production planning with supply chain needs
- Resolve quality and production issues
- Support inventory accuracy and reduce failure costs
- Optimize resource allocation and equipment usage
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Track productivity metrics and performance targets
- Collaborate across departments and promote operational excellence
- Monitor production variations and report accordingly
- Foster employee engagement and development
- Conduct staff meetings and manage operational budgets
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
- Stay current with industry best practices
- Support capital project execution
Profile
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in food industry operations and management
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of business principles and resource management
- Technical expertise and familiarity with industry equipment
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in cross-functional teams
