Superintendent - Commercial Construction
As a Construction Superintendent, you will be the on-site leader responsible for managing daily construction activities, coordinating subcontractors, enforcing safety protocols, and ensuring quality control. You'll work closely with the Project Manager and other team members to bring projects to life from the ground up.

Our client is a leading general contractor in the Nashville area, known for delivering high-quality commercial and residential construction projects. Their team is committed to excellence, safety, and building strong relationships with clients and trade partners. They're currently seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead on-site operations and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Description
- Oversee all on-site construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Enforce safety standards and conduct regular site safety meetings
- Monitor project schedules and progress, reporting updates to the Project Manager
- Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues promptly
- Maintain accurate daily logs, reports, and site documentation
- Foster a positive and productive work environment on-site
Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes
- Proven ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project timelines
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Bluebeam)
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
