Commercial Construction Project Manager

Description

  • Lead the successful execution of construction projects by guiding teams toward achieving key milestones, client satisfaction, and overall project success.
  • Coordinate project requirements across disciplines, fostering a collaborative and integrated team approach to ensure seamless delivery.
  • Evaluate reporting systems and processes, and deliver detailed progress and cost reports to clients and senior leadership.
  • Cultivate and strengthen long-term client relationships through proactive communication and dependable service.
  • Assemble bid packages for competitive project work, assess and clarify proposals, and provide strategic recommendations for contract awards.
  • Define and manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring alignment with financial goals and delivery schedules.
  • Review and process vendor submissions, and oversee timely procurement and delivery of essential materials and equipment.
  • Generate and distribute comprehensive project updates to keep clients informed and engaged throughout each phase.
  • Design and implement site logistics plans, determining optimal crew sizes and resource allocation for efficient operations.

Profile

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related area of study
  • 5-15 years of construction experience working on light industrial, commercial, or multifamily projects
  • Motivated to learn and advance at a fast pace
  • Working knowledge of commercial construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
