Estimator - Central MA- Public Projects $250M+
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join a team in Boston, specializing in public projects exceeding $250M. This role requires expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and project planning within the construction sector.

Description
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for public projects over $250M.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and proposals to determine requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate cost forecasting.
- Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.
- Utilize estimating software and tools to streamline processes.
- Track and manage project costs to ensure alignment with budget goals.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders regarding project estimates.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project documentation.

Profile
A successful Estimator should have:
- Proficiency in construction cost estimation and budgeting processes.
- Knowledge of public projects and related regulations.
- Experience using estimating software and tools effectively.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
- A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- A degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
