Business Development Manager-Ithaca NY-Sheet Metal Fabrication

My client is looking for someone with Sheet Metal Fabrication / Sales experience in the Ithaca NY area.

Our client is a well-established organization within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry specifically in machining services. This is a prior family owned site now operated by a larger parent company. They are known for their innovative solutions and commitment to delivering high-quality products and services to their customers.

Description

• Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the New York, New Jersey, and PA area.
• Sell Sheet Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining Services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.
• Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote products and services.
• Analyze market trends to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients.

Profile

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

• Proven experience in sales or business development within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
• Experience selling Sheet Metal Fabrication, CNC Machining or other metal related services.
• Background selling Sheet Metal Fabrication Services ideally into Medical Device, Aerospace and Defense, Automotive.
• Strong understanding of the sales process and ability to close deals effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategic plans.
• Self-motivated and results-driven attitude.

Job Offer

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $130,000 USD - $160,000 - $260,000 total compensation.
• Able to either commute to Ithaca NY site or get there on a monthly basis.
