Assembly Plant Supervisor - Machinery Manufacturing - PA

Description

• Supervise approximately 20 team members across assembly and paint operations.
• Complete hands‑on training with the previous supervisor to learn equipment, processes, and build expectations.
• Oversee scheduling of projects ranging from single‑day tasks to multi‑week assemblies.
• Review drawings, BOMs, work orders, and multi‑step build documentation.
• Support troubleshooting, mechanical guidance, and build flow improvements.
• Ensure safe work practices, quality standards, and on‑time completion of projects.
• Collaborate with the General Assembly Manager and Plant Manager on priorities and staffing.

Profile

• 2‑year technical degree required.
• Prior supervisor or lead experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort taking equipment apart and reassembling.
• Experience with 3D CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Familiarity with BOMs, drawings, and multi‑step manufacturing environments.
• Comfortable working around large assemblies and hand tools.
• Ability to coordinate shifting schedules and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree not required if strengths align elsewhere.
