Programming Maintenance Mechanic | Food MFG | up to $125k

My client is looking for a Specialized Maintenance Mechanic with strong electrical, mechanical, and programming experience. This is not your average maintenance role - we're looking for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys getting into the guts of machinery, and can read schematics like a second language.

Description

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex production equipment (electrical and mechanical systems).
• Use schematics and blueprints to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.
• Program, calibrate, and fine-tune automated machinery.
• Work directly with contractors and internal engineering leadership to implement machinery upgrades and fixes.
• Participate in on-site task-based interview process to showcase your approach and capability.
• Be on-call during a 3-4 month sprint period, with potential for weekend work.
• Help lay the groundwork to build a team as operations scale.

Profile

• A mechanic first, with the ability to program and problem-solve electrical issues.
• This role is Monday to Friday, some weekends/on-call during critical periods.
• Strong knowledge of machinery systems - doesn't have to be food-specific.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints.
• Someone who enjoys tackling challenges and can operate with little supervision.
• Strong communicator who plays well with others and brings a passion for what they do.
• Bonus if you've worked in a start-up or scale-up environment.
• No formal degree required - smart, hands-on, and curious wins here.
• Open to candidates earlier in their careers if you're sharp and ready to grow.
• Experience working with a wide variety of machinery and automated systems.
• Must be local or able to work on-site in Bell, CA.

Job Offer
