Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team! In this role, you'll ensure products meet the highest standards by collaborating across departments and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Description

  • Develop a strong understanding of products, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Review customer, regulatory, and industry specifications; translate requirements into production-ready documentation.
  • Partner with Sales, R&D, customers, and suppliers to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
  • Support quality investigations, including internal nonconformances and customer returns.
  • Assist global teams with quality and process matters.
  • Support audits, customer visits, and supplier communications.
  • Implement process controls, data collection methods, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain quality documentation (control plans, PFMEAs, inspection plans, etc.).

Profile

A successful Quality Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience (optics experience preferred).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
  • Hands-on experience with measurement tools.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, or AS9100 quality systems.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
