Senior Project Manager- K-12 Construction
An established General Contractor is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee K-12 school renovation projects across Broward County. This role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional who thrives in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments and has experience managing public sector renovations.

Our client is a reputable general contractor based in South Florida with a strong portfolio of public sector projects, particularly in the education space. They are known for their long-standing partnerships with school districts, commitment to quality construction, and a collaborative, team-focused culture. With a growing pipeline of work in Broward County, they are looking to bring on an experienced leader to help deliver critical school renovation projects on time and within budget.
Description
Lead all phases of K-12 renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout
Manage project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
Liaise with school district officials, architects, and internal teams to ensure alignment on project goals
Oversee onsite teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality expectations
Handle change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to track milestones and resolve issues
Profile
8+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, with at least 3 years focused on K-12 or public sector renovation work
Proven track record delivering projects valued between $5M-$20M
Strong knowledge of Florida building codes and DMS/Broward County School Board standards
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
OSHA 30 certification and PMP designation a plus
Job Offer
Competitive base salary ranging from $120,000-$150,000 depending on experience
