Commercial Construction Project Manager
The Project Manager will oversee commercial retail projects, primarily bank builds and renovations, typically ranging from $3M-$10M. These projects are often fast‑track schedules, requiring strong organization, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple moving parts efficiently.

This opportunity is with a growing, national general contractor with a strong presence in the Southeast, particularly in the Charlotte market. The firm specializes in ground‑up and interior retail construction, with a core focus on financial institution projects. Known for its consistent backlog and repeat clients, the company offers a stable, fast‑paced environment where Project Managers have real ownership over their work.
Description
- Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
- Perform or assist with estimating and bid preparation.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Lead client communication and maintain strong relationships.
- Track project costs, changes, and financial performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Oversee multiple smaller projects simultaneously as required.
Profile
A successful Commercial Construction Project Manager should have:
- 5-8 years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing smaller to mid‑sized projects ($3M-$10M).
- Experience with bank/retail projects strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage scheduling and estimating responsibilities.
- Demonstrated job stability (3+ years tenure in prior roles preferred).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Local to the Charlotte, NC market.
Job Offer
- Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120.000 to USD 130.000.
- Vehicle Allowance: $400/month (tolls and parking reimbursed)
