Construction Estimator / Senior Estimator

We are seeking a Senior Estimator to manage preconstruction and cost estimating for complex commercial and institutional projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence project success from concept through bid, working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial and institutional projects ranging from $5M to $50M+
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and documentation to develop accurate bid packages
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors during preconstruction
• Manage value engineering and risk analysis to optimize project budgets
• Maintain historical cost data and update estimating tools for continuous improvement

Profile

A successful Estimator / Senior Estimator should have:

• A strong background in construction cost estimation within the property industry.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations in Jacksonville.
