Traveling Superintendent

The Traveling Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Description

• Manage on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients to maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies at every job site.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential challenges and develop solutions.
• Monitor project schedules and budgets, providing updates to stakeholders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and site conditions.
• Lead, mentor, and support on-site teams to achieve project goals effectively.
• Travel extensively to various job sites to oversee construction operations and ensure quality standards are met.

Profile

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

• Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish, preferably in the business services industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage on-site teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of construction safety regulations and best practices.
• Willingness to travel extensively to various job sites as required by the role.
