Chief of Staff (Operations)
The Chief of Staff will play a vital role in supporting executive leadership by managing daily operations and ensuring smooth communication across departments. This Contract to Hire position in New York requires excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

Description
- Collaborate closely with the President & CEO to understand and execute on organizational goals and priorities
- Oversee day-to-day business operations of the organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness, and that all business outcomes are met
- Serve as liaison within the organization and senior leadership, working cross-functionally to drive key projects to completion, tracking milestones and managing resources effectively
- Function as project manager to ensure the successful progression of the company's programs, special projects, and organizational initiatives, navigating intricate details to preclude any oversights and ensure cohesive and successful outcomes
- Prepare and lead key meetings to ensure accountability for the smooth progression and execution of programs and projects
- Facilitate meetings, maintain post-meeting debriefs, communicate to relevant stakeholders, and manage action items and follow-up
- Develop and implement best practices to streamline workflows and enhance overall organizational performance that eliminates 're-inventing the wheel'
- Promote streamlined use of staff time and resources, drive measurable outcomes, and ensure goals are met within specified timelines
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the President & CEO to help determine and prioritize decisions, manage time, prepare materials and brainstorm approaches
- As requested, attend meetings with the President & CEO to synthesize notes, facilitate action items and follow up items
- Engage as an ambassador for social media initiatives by actively sharing the company's social media posts within one's networks, to amplify the organization's reach and foster community engagement
- Participate in other projects and duties as assigned

Profile
Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant leadership and management work experience
- Proven experience in an executive-level role
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic with desire and preference to work in-person as part of a cohesive, collaborative, high-energy, in-the-office work environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and remain poised in a fast-paced and agile landscape
- Highly proactive and collaborative
- Ability to work weekend and evening hours, when necessary, to support events and programs
- Strong work ethic with preference for in-person collaboration in a high-energy office environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish a plus
