FP&A Manager
Our client, a well-known personal care product company based in Manhattan, is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager. This is a temp to perm role, and the successful candidate will have 5+ years of financial analysis experience & be immediately available to start a new role.

Well-known personal care product company based in Manhattan. This role is 4 days per week in office, and offers a chance for someone with 5+ years of financial analysis experience a chance to work in a collaborative department at a stable retail company.
Description
This role will involve:
Financial Planning, Analysis, and Reporting:
- Support during the monthly and quarterly close cycles.
- Collaborate with teams to track expenses, identify variances, and support cost control efforts.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Assist in budget and forecast updates across general and administrative (G&A) functions.
- Consolidate and validate financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain and update financial models and reporting templates.
- Help prepare group deliverables, including monthly reporting and audit requests.
- Provide system and reporting support within ERP and BI tools (SAP, Power BI, Domo, etc.).
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and documentation of finance procedures.
- Assist with other ad hoc analysis and projects as needed
Cost Control:
- Analyze variances and identify areas of Risk and Opportunities
- Implement cost controls to ensure proper spend allocation and alignment with company targets
- Build a rolling forecast and ensure full year targets are met
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in finance/business analysis
- Experience in a CPG company a plus
- Experience with financial systems: ERP (SAP, NetSuite or similar) required
- Experience with DOMO, Tableau, or Power BI a plus
- Strong analytical skills and an ability to identify critical concerns and prioritize; problem-solving/ solution finder abilities.
- Pro-active: ability to handle a multitude of projects and issues at one time
- Team player: ability to interact with all levels within an organization.
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Interest in learning and ability to integrate information to identify the implications of macro trends for the business.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment managing time sensitive deliverables.
