Estimator - Ground Up Projects up to $250M

The Estimator will play a vital role in the Construction department within the industry, focusing on estimating and preparing cost proposals for various projects. Description

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
• Identify potential risks and opportunities in project costs and develop contingency plans.
• Maintain an up-to-date database of suppliers, subcontractors, and pricing information.
• Review and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and vendors to ensure cost efficiency.
• Provide support during the project execution phase to ensure alignment with the estimated budget.
• Stay informed about industry trends and developments to refine estimating processes.

Profile

A successful (Senior) Estimator should have:

• 7 - 8+ years in Estimating role
• Experience with Ground Up projects $20M++
• Commutable to Burlington, MA
• A strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.
• Proficiency in construction software and tools related to cost estimation.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities with cross-functional teams.
• A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
