My client is seeking a temp-to-hire Legal Talent Acquisition Specialist in Houston, focused on entry-level hiring. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle-sourcing, pipeline building, interviewing, and offers-while supporting some lateral hiring as needed.

Description

  • Act as a trusted advisor on entry-level recruitment to hiring partners and stakeholders
  • Lead and execute entry-level hiring strategy for the Houston office
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviews, and offers
  • Provide market insights and regular updates to stakeholders
  • Deliver a seamless candidate experience from outreach through onboarding
  • Align hiring efforts with the firm's growth goals
  • Collaborate with lateral recruiting team and sponsors to support strategic growth
  • Handle candidate inquiries and ongoing communications
  • Coordinate lateral interview scheduling and feedback processes
  • Track recruitment metrics, including submissions and spend
  • Support cross-office stakeholder requests
  • Manage agency relationships and active searches
  • Contribute to additional recruitment projects as needed

Profile

  • 3+ years of legal recruiting experience, ideally with a focus on entry-level hiring in a law firm or professional services environment
  • Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment in a competitive market, including candidate and agency negotiations
  • Strong understanding of recruiting strategies, sourcing, and candidate engagement, with a proactive and innovative approach
  • Confident advising hiring partners and candidates, with professionalism and discretion
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and deliver against hiring goals
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems
  • Team-oriented but able to work independently
  • Flexible with working hours and able to meet in-office requirements
