Senior Quality Manager
My client is looking for a Senior Quality Manager, that will focus on ensuring that our client is able to safely deliver the best products to their customers and consumers.

Description
- Oversee all plant-level quality assurance and quality control programs, ensuring compliance with FDA, USDA, HACCP, FSMA, and customer requirements.
- Lead, develop, and coach the QA team, fostering a culture of accountability, food safety, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and enhance the facility's food safety and quality systems, including GFSI certifications (e.g., SQF, BRC).
- Lead internal and external audits and manage follow-up actions to drive ongoing compliance and readiness.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, and Maintenance to resolve quality issues and drive process improvements.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor KPIs related to product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
- Review and approve specifications, batch records, testing protocols, and sanitation procedures.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging regulations, and quality best practices.
- Serve as the primary quality point of contact for key customers, third-party auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Profile
- 7+ years of Quality Management or Director-level experience in a food manufacturing facility
- Bachelor's degree a plus
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FSMA, and GFSI schemes (e.g., SQF, BRC).
- Demonstrated experience leading regulatory and third-party audits.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and mentor high-performing quality teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., CAPA, Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
- Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
