AML Consultant

The AML Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Legal Department within the financial services industry. This temporary position in New York focuses on ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations and maintaining high standards of regulatory adherence.

Description

• Conduct thorough AML investigations and reviews to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Analyze and monitor transactions for suspicious activity and escalate as necessary.
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to AML activities.
• Collaborate with the Legal Department to address compliance challenges and provide solutions.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of AML policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements and ensure internal teams adhere to compliance standards.
• Support audits and regulatory exams by preparing necessary documentation and reports.
• Stay updated on new AML laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance practices remain current.

Profile

A successful AML Consultant should have:
