General Superintendent - Denver

A growing Denver-Based General Contractor are looking to appoint an experienced General Superintendent. The role will focus on both multifamily and commercial ground up construction.

Our client is a General Contractor, based in Denver, with an excellent reputation among the industry. They are a culture focused company and believe in innovation and and open door policies. They specialize in commercial projects including K-12 Education, Retail, Restaurant, and Fuel Stations.

Description

    • Provide executive-level oversight of all field operations, ensuring multiple projects meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
    • Develop and implement company-wide construction strategies, including site logistics plans and resource allocation across projects.
    • Lead and mentor senior superintendents and field teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Review and approve blueprints, schedules, and subcontractor scopes at a strategic level to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
    • Monitor overall subcontractor performance and compliance, enforcing high standards of workmanship and safety across all sites.
    • Maintain accurate reporting systems, including consolidated daily and weekly progress summaries for executive leadership.
    • Coordinate with project executives, owners, and investors, serving as the primary field representative for client-facing matters.
    • Ensure corporate safety programs and signage standards are implemented consistently across all job sites.
    • Oversee bid reviews and inspection processes, providing final approval and guidance on critical decisions.
    • Schedule and manage key inspections and regulatory compliance for multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, regulatory agencies, and industry partners to support current and future business development.

Profile

    • 20+ years of progressive field leadership experience, with a strong background in managing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
    • Deep ground-up construction expertise, overseeing all phases from preconstruction through delivery across diverse project types.
    • Proven success in commercial and multifamily sectors, with the ability to manage complex schedules and large teams across multiple job sites.
    • Advanced proficiency in construction management platforms and tools, including Microsoft Excel, Word, FastTrack, and other industry software.
    • OSHA certification required, with demonstrated ability to implement and enforce company-wide safety programs.
    • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of mentoring senior superintendents and fostering collaboration among owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
    • Strong strategic planning and resource allocation skills, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • A history of building strong relationships with clients, investors, and municipalities, supporting business development and future opportunities.
