Lead Estimator - Commercial Construction
The Commercial Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and commercial project scopes and can collaborate closely with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.

We are a respected general contractor specializing in commercial construction projects across South Florida. Known for our quality, integrity, and innovation, we are expanding our team and looking for an experienced Commercial Estimator to support our bidding and project planning efforts.
Description
Analyze project plans, specifications, and scope of work to develop detailed estimates
Prepare bid proposals, quantity takeoffs, and cost breakdowns
Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and negotiate costs
Review and analyze subcontractor bids and pricing for accuracy and completeness
Work closely with project management to develop budgets and forecasts
Maintain an organized database of cost information and project histories
Assist with value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Profile
10+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction
Strong understanding of commercial construction materials, methods, and codes
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, Sage Estimating)
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Detail-oriented with strong time management skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferre
