Commercial Estimator - Northern Colorado
The Commercial Estimator will play a vital role in the construction department by preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial projects. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of construction processes within the business services industry. This team primarily completes negotiated work with repeat clients but does produce some hardbids.

Description
The Commercial Construction Estimator will be responsible for:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects to analyze project requirements and specifications.
- Evaluate subcontractor and supplier proposals to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with project needs.
- Review construction plans and documents to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savings.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, materials, and labor costs in the construction industry.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to provide clear and concise cost breakdowns.
- Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for prospective projects.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations in all estimating activities.

Profile
A successful Commercial Construction Estimator should have:
- A strong understanding of processes and terminology within the construction industry.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to develop accurate cost estimates.
- Proficiency with estimating software and tools commonly used in the construction field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
