Letters of Credit/Trade Finance Associate
The Letters of Credit/Trade Finance position offers an exciting opportunity to work within the banking and financial services industry, focusing on trade finance operations. This temporary role is ideal for professionals with experience in letters of credit and a detail-oriented approach to financial documentation.

A top-tier European bank blending retail, corporate, and investment banking.
Description
- Core Function: Manage end-to-end processing of standby and commercial Letters of Credit, including drafting, transaction entry in ACBS, and maintaining accurate documentation.
- Required Experience: Must have hands-on experience drafting Letters of Credit; familiarity with ALTAR and systems like Tiger or ACBS is a strong plus.
- Client & Internal Coordination: Liaise with clients, overseas branches, and internal teams (Reconciliation, Compliance, IT, Corporate Banking) to ensure timely processing, issue resolution, and compliance.
- Work Arrangement: Start with 5 days in-office for training, transitioning to a hybrid schedule after approximately 2 months; location is Manhattan.

Profile
A successful Letters of Credit/Trade Finance professional should have:
- A solid understanding of trade finance operations, including letters of credit.
- Experience working with ALTAR, Tiger, or ACBS
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in banking and financial services systems and tools.
- Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at different levels.
- Knowledge of international trade practices and regulations.
