AML/Sanctions Investigation Consultant

This 6-month contract role involves reviewing AML and sanctions alerts, conducting enhanced investigations, and ensuring compliance with U.S. regulatory standards such as BSA/AML and OFAC. Description

  • Analyze AML monitoring alerts to verify adherence to BSA/AML regulations and accurately document investigative outcomes.

  • Perform in-depth investigations into individuals or activities flagged as potentially suspicious.

  • Assess sanctions screening alerts generated during nightly list matching to identify possible compliance concerns.

  • Execute searches on individuals and entities in response to FinCEN 314(a) information-sharing requests.

  • Maintain thorough and organized documentation to support audit trail requirements and facilitate review.

Profile

  • A bachelor's degree is required.

  • 4+ years of experience in AML compliance or a related regulatory function.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. AML laws and OFAC regulatory frameworks.
