Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Device - Derry, NH
My client is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer who will drive the development, optimization, and support of manufacturing processes for life-saving surgical devices. You'll collaborate closely with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Description
The Manufacturing Engineer will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing surgical devices.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Support design transfer activities from R&D to production.
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and equipment validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement projects and cost-reduction strategies.
- Support audits, CAPA investigations, and risk management activities (e.g., FMEA).

Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in medical device manufacturing
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (ISO 13485)
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Hands-on experience with process validation, fixture design, and lean manufacturing
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with FEA analysis tools is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-collaborative teams
