We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within our organization.

Description

• Prepare and examine accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
• Develop and analyze reporting for business operations and budgets
• Perform audits, ensuring adherence to standard requirements
• Create new processes to improve financial efficiency
• Report analysis and findings to management team
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems
• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements
• Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budget forecasts

Profile

A successful 'Property Accountant' should have:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with property accounting, ideally within multi-family asset class
• Strong numerical proficiency
• Detail-oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
