Inventory/Cost Accountant - Contract

This fully remote, 6+ month contract role supports a global organization with high-volume inventory accounting, starting with GR/IR reconciliations and expanding into broader responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP and Excel skills, a background in cost or inventory accounting, and the ability to work independently.

Description

• Manage GR/IR account reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead the month-end close process, focusing on inventory and cost accounting activities.
• Provide audit support by preparing necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
• Oversee end-to-end accounting processes to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize advanced SAP and Excel skills to analyze and report on inventory and cost data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and improve efficiency.
• Maintain detailed records and ensure adherence to accounting standards and policies.
• Assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data.
