Site Superintendent - Civil and Infrastructure Construction

Our client is looking for a seasoned Civil Superintendent with 3-5+ years of hands-on leadership in heavy civil projects. This position offers the chance to take on high-visibility work, including the $30M Scenic Highway upgrade, airport improvements at Martha's Vineyard and Marshfield, and other major infrastructure developments.

Our client, a family-owned heavy civil contractor with over 35 years in the industry, is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on high-profile civil and infrastructure projects across Cape Cod, the South Shore, and nearby islands. With a strong reputation in roadwork, utilities, airports, and site development, they provide stability, growth, and a collaborative team environment.

Description

The Civil Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Oversee daily construction activities on heavy civil and infrastructure projects
• Manage crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain productivity and safety standards
• Drive adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality benchmarks
• Leverage Procore for project documentation, reporting, and coordination
• Act as the on-site leader, communicating effectively with PMs, leadership, and clients
• Troubleshoot issues and keep projects progressing efficiently

Profile

The Civil Superintendent will have:

• 3-5+ years as a Superintendent in civil or horizontal construction
• Proven experience with DOT, municipal, and infrastructure projects (airport work a plus)
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with a steady employment track record
• Proficiency in Procore and comfort managing multiple crews and subs
• Willingness to travel between Cape, South Shore, North Shore, and island projects
