Assistant Project Manager (Ground-Up) - Construction
Client Details
Our client is a mid‑sized commercial general contractor with a strong presence in Westchester and the surrounding region. They specialize in ground‑up commercial construction and are known for their structured processes, team‑oriented culture, and long‑term project pipeline.Description
- Support Project Managers on commercial ground‑up projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Assist with project schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and procurement.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and onsite teams.
- Track long‑lead items and ensure materials align with construction schedules.
- Attend project meetings and help resolve issues to keep work moving efficiently.
Profile
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- Experience supporting commercial ground‑up construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, site work, and core building systems.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to take on increased responsibility.
