Project Manager- Commercial Construction

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects in Miami, Florida, with a focus on tenant improvements, office space, and retail build-outs. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to client expectations.

Our client is a well-established commercial general contractor specializing in tenant improvement and interior build-out projects across the Miami and South Florida market. They work with repeat clients in office and retail sectors and are known for their fast-paced execution, strong subcontractor relationships, and consistent project pipeline.

Description

• Manage all phases of commercial construction projects, from preconstruction through completion.

• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.

• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Review and manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

• Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders.

• Monitor project progress and proactively resolve issues related to scope, schedule, and budget.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality control, and company procedures.

Profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.

• Strong background in tenant improvements, office build-outs, and retail projects.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

• Solid understanding of construction documents, scheduling, and cost management.

• Strong leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.

• Experience with project management software such as Procore or similar platforms preferred.
