Superintendent - Healthcare
A well-known GC in Fort Lauderdale is looking for a Superintendent with proven experience in healthcare construction. This role is perfect for someone who can manage complex hospital and medical facility projects
Client Details
This is a reputable general contractor with a strong footprint in South Florida, known for delivering high-quality healthcare, institutional, and commercial projects. They work with major healthcare systems and have a track record of on-time, compliant, and safe project execution
Description
Lead field operations for ground-up and renovation healthcare projects
Ensure compliance with AHCA, ICRA, and infection control standards
Coordinate subcontractors, site logistics, and scheduling
Manage safety, inspections, and quality control
Maintain professional communication with hospital staff and project stakeholders
Provide accurate daily updates and support the project management team
Profile
5+ years as a Superintendent on healthcare construction projects
Strong knowledge of AHCA/ICRA regulations and best practices
Experience in both new construction and renovations in active healthcare settings
Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills
Proficient in construction software (Procore, PlanGrid, or similar)
OSHA 30 certification preferred
