Project Manager - Charlotte, NC
A leading national contractor is seeking a Project Manager to join their Charlotte team as they continue to expand their presence across the Southeast. This role is ideal for a PM with strong commercial experience who enjoys managing complex projects, building client relationships, and contributing to a growing regional office backed by a well‑established national organization.
Client Details
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close‑out
- Lead budgeting, estimating support, scheduling, and subcontractor procurement
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams
- Oversee project documentation, financials, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and reporting
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and schedule performance
- Collaborate closely with field teams to drive successful project delivery
Description
- 4+ years of commercial Project Management experience
- Proven ability to run projects independently in the $5M-$50M range
- Strong communication and client‑facing presence
- Experience with interiors, commercial, institutional, or industrial projects preferred
- Organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple scopes simultaneously
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects within the business services industry.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to adapt to changes and resolve project challenges effectively.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance processes.
