Manufacturing Manager
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee the entire lifecycle of hydraulic valve production, from defining and implementing manufacturing processes to guiding production staff, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery. The Manufacturing Manager will also drive continuous improvement efforts, manage budgets, and coordination across multiple departments, all while reporting to senior leadership directly to help shape the future of manufacturing.

Description
- Oversee daily operations of all assembly and shipping processes, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of products
- Manage work orders and the company MRP system, ensuring accurate scheduling, material planning, and resource allocation
- Monitor and analyze production efficiency, comparing estimates to actual performance to drive improvements and reduce waste
- Evaluate and manage manufacturing capacity, adjusting production plans as needed to meet customer demand and operational targets
- Collaborate closely with the VP of Operations on capacity planning decisions, including overtime strategy and workforce allocation
- Participate in and support ISO 9001 audits, ensuring all processes and documentation meet quality standards and regulatory compliance
- Implement and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput, quality, and employee safety
- Lead and develop a team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and performance
Profile
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- An associate degree or technical certification; advanced training is a plus
- Hands-on CNC machining experience, especially with Mazak equipment (lathes and horizontal mills)
- Ability to troubleshoot, set up, and make basic programming edits on CNC machines
- Experience with ERP and MRP systems
- Proven supervisory experience managing shop floor teams and daily production operations
- Hands-on and lead-by-example approach to leadership
- Strong communication skills
- A continuous improvement mindset
Job Offer
- Competitive salary range between $100,000 and $120,000 USD annually.
