Senior Process Development Engineer- Medical Device

Description

  • Developing and refining manufacturing processes for catheter and endoscopic device components.
  • Designing experiments and executing process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Collaborating with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and scalability.
  • Supporting pilot builds and transitioning products from development to production.
  • Identifying and implementing automation opportunities to improve efficiency and consistency.

Profile

A successful Senior Process Development Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in process development or manufacturing engineering within the medical device industry.
  • Strong background in catheter or endoscopic device technologies.
  • Experience with polymer processing, thermal bonding, laser cutting, and/or braiding preferred.
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO standards, and GMP practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
