Senior Accountant

Description

• The Senior Accountant will prepare and manage month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Oversee the cost accounting and inventory, including analysis and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Collaborate with manufacturing leaders to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant financial information.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the accounting function.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support audits as needed.

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Must have experience with cost accounting from a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• This role is on site in Greater Phoenix.
