Construction Assistant Project Manager
We are looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the management of commercial construction projects from start to finish. This role plays a key part in helping ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Description
Assist the Project Manager in overseeing construction activities and ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
Coordinate with site superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to support smooth project execution.
Help monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and escalate concerns as needed.
Review project documents, including blueprints, plans, and specifications, to support accurate project delivery.
Maintain project documentation such as schedules, daily reports, RFIs, and change orders.
Support compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies on-site.
Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and clients to help maintain positive relationships.
Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
Some experience or exposure to commercial construction projects, preferably in a support or coordination role.
Basic knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and adapt.
Familiarity with project management tools and software is a plus.
Job Offer
