Owner's Rep Project Manager
We are seeking an Owner's Rep Engineer for a role within the residential and commercial real estate space. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering and construction leading ground up and CAPEX projects.
Client Details
Our client is a rep real estate firm that operates across big box retail, commercial and multifamily residential, known for its commitment to excellence. They manage a multitude of properties across the United States (primarily in the Tri-State area) and are recognized for their high-quality services - projects up to 1.5 million square feet.
Description
- Oversee all aspects of engineering and construction on the Owner's behalf on projects that range from 2,000 square feet to a sizable mixed-use, 1.5 million square foot development.
- Provide strategic insight and guidance on all property-related matters, with an eye for design and engineering, looking at the mechanical, electrical and civil on ground up and redevelopment projects, partnered closely with the development and asset management teams.
- Sub-contractor, general contractor, engineer and architect selection and management.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
- Develop and implement construction strategies, process improvement, financial management, scheduling, overseeing the design and construction, using Procore and CAD.
- Ensure compliance with all property regulations and guidelines within the financial services industry
- Manage and resolve any property-related issues
- Continually strive for improvement in property management processes

Profile
A successful 'Owner's Rep Engineer' should have:
- A degree in mechanical, civil, electrical or architectural engineering is ESSENTIAL for this role.
- Will have worked for either a general contractor, construction manager or developer - ideally a mix of all.
- Will be tech savvy with Procore and MSP experience, and an ability to read drawings and drive field operations with strong financial reporting experience.
- The ability to provide strategic insight and guidance on property matters
- Excellent communication and liaison skills
- An understanding of property regulations and guidelines
- A commitment to continual improvement and excellence
Job Offer

- Commutable to Manhattan daily with a flexibility to travel to projects in NJ and NY.
- A competitive salary range of $140,000 - $185,000 + generous bonuses, benefits and high levels of upward mobility.
