Assistant Project Manager Miami, FL
- 2-3 Years of construction experience
- $50-70K base salary with opportunity for long term growth with reputable GC
Client Details
Our client is a full-service General Contractor/Construction Manager that has been in business for many years. This company is experiencing a steady growth and steady pipelines of work throughout Dade County. Team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture. Our client is currently seeking a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join their growing team who will grow within the company.
Description
- Provide project management assistance through completion of projects on time and under budget.
- Manage and develop assigned staff toward maximum job performance and career potential.
- Help create, review, negotiate, and works with the project team to process the meeting minutes, Owner Change Orders, and requests for information
- Establish, communicate, and implement the Project Schedule
- Interpret and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the details of the project
- Manage the Quality Assurance/Quality Control program.
- Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, and fee and pricing decisions
Profile
- 2+ year of construction experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field recommended
- Team player with a positive and driven attitude
- Has interest to estimate change orders, pay apps, etc. but does not need to be able to bid projects from scratch.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- The ability to work in a fast paced work environment
- Desire to further career in project management
- OSHA certified
