Project Manager- K-12 Construction

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead K-12 school renovation projects in West Palm Beach. This is an exciting opportunity to manage high-impact, community-focused construction projects with a well-established and reputable general contractor in the Florida education sector.

Description

• Manage full project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout for K-12 renovation projects.

• Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

• Lead weekly meetings with owners, architects, and engineers to track progress and resolve issues.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contract documents, and school district standards.

• Oversee change orders, RFIs, schedules, and budget forecasting.

• Report directly to senior leadership with project updates and risk mitigation strategies.

Profile

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.

• Proven track record with K-12, public sector, or occupied renovation projects is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of Florida building codes, permitting, and local construction processes.

• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, or similar construction management software.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred, not required).

• Competitive base salary ($95,000-$125,000 DOE) plus performance-based bonuses.
