Lead Electrical Engineer - Medical Device - Fairhaven, MA
This role leads the design and development of innovative electronic systems, overseeing everything from concept through prototyping and testing to final product integration. It combines technical leadership in circuit and system design with cross-functional collaboration and mentoring responsibilities.

Description
This Lead Electrical Engineer will:
- Design, prototype, and refine low-power analog/digital systems
- Develop system architecture and design specifications
- Create schematics and oversee PCB layouts (Altium preferred)
- Integrate sensors, wireless comms, and embedded firmware
- Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions
- Collaborate across disciplines from concept to commercialization
- Document designs per quality and regulatory standards
- Support technical presentations and project planning
Profile
A successful Lead Electrical Engineer will have:
- 7-10+ years in electrical or biomedical engineering (MS preferred)
- Expert in analog/digital circuit design & PCB layout (Altium a plus)
- Experience with sensors, wireless comms, and low-power systems
- Familiarity with embedded firmware and system-level design
- Hands-on, collaborative and able to mentor junior engineers
- Knowledge of medical device standards and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
