Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure professional to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the business services industry and a strong background in project management.

Our client is a highly respected general contractor with over six decades of experience, specializing in large-scale construction and renovation projects for government agencies throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Consistently ranked among ENR's Top 400 General Contractors, they have built a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects with exceptional quality.
As Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects-ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. In this role, you'll lead project teams, manage stakeholder coordination, and uphold strict safety and quality compliance throughout every phase.
Description
The Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure responsibilities will be:
- Manage pump station and treatment plant projects in Norfolk and Richmond
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Lead and mentor project engineers and assistant PMs
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior leadership
- Resolve project issues and maintain client satisfaction
Profile
A successful The Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure will have:
- 5-10 years of experience in civil construction project management
- Background in pump stations, wastewater treatment, or heavy civil projects
- Mechanical experience strongly preferred
- Transportation project experience (WMATA, VDOT) is a plus
Job Offer
The Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure will receive:
- Base Salary: $110K-$130K
- Bonus: Annual, up to 10% of base
- Car Allowance: $400-$700/month
- Benefits: Health, 401(k) with match (effective after 30 days), PTO starting at 2 weeks
