We are seeking a Heavy Civil Superintendent for a Top Civil Contractor client in the Tri-state area.

Our client is a major contractor in the Tri-state with a great reputation with mutli-million dollar Heavy Civil DOT projects. Specializing in Heavy Highway and Bridge Construction.

Description

Responsibilities: Civil Superintendent

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily field operations on DOT heavy civil projects (roadways, bridges, utilities).
• Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with DOT specifications and plans.
• Lead and manage foremen, crews, subcontractors, and equipment.
• Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and agency representatives.
• Enforce safety programs, quality control, and environmental requirements.
• Track production, manpower, materials, and equipment needs.
• Resolve field issues and maintain accurate daily reports.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of heavy civil construction experience, including DOT work.
• Proven leadership experience as a superintendent or foreman.
• Strong knowledge of DOT standards, safety regulations, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Job Offer
